In her work, she used super-resolution confocal microscopy and Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) imaging to study how mitochondrial morphology and fibrillar collagen contribute to aging. Her findings highlight how these fiber-like structures influence cellular responses to their environment and have potential applications for future drug discovery.
